PETUNJUK YANG MELAMPAUI ZAMAN - VOL1 - AL-QUR'AN & ALAM SEMESTA

Cosmology and the Big Bang Theory
📌 The Quran addresses the origin of the universe, aligning with the Big Bang theory, which posits the universe originated from a singular, infinitely hot and dense point that expanded.
📜 Surah Al-Anbiya verse 30 mentions that the heavens and the earth were once joined together and then separated, reflecting the concept of initial cosmic singularity.
💨 Surah Fussilat verse 11 describes the early universe as being like smoke ("dukhan"), which modern cosmology, supported by figures like Steven Weinberg (Nobel laureate), confirms regarding the initial dense, hot gas cloud of the universe.

Celestial Mechanics and Earth's Motion
☀️ Quranic verses predict the precise movements of celestial bodies, contrary to older geocentric models prevalent until the 16th and 17th centuries.
🔭 Surah Al-Anbiya verse 33 states that the Sun moves in an orbit, which is scientifically confirmed; the Sun orbits the center of the Milky Way Galaxy at approximately 150 miles per second (241 km/s).
🔄 Surah Yasin verses 39-40 describe the independent motion of the Sun and Moon, noting that the Moon does not overtake the Sun, aligning with modern findings that the Sun revolves around the galactic center.

Atmospheric Phenomena and the Water Cycle
🌧️ Surah Al-Nur verse 43 describes the process of cloud formation and hailstones originating from mountains-like clouds, aligning with detailed physics explanations of cloud formation and precipitation (coalescence and Bergeron processes).
💧 Surah Az-Zumar verse 21 explains the complete water cycle—evaporation, storage in the earth as springs, plant growth, and eventual decay—a system only fully understood by modern researchers about 100 years ago.
🌬️ Surah Al-Hijr verse 22 highlights the role of the sun (as a lamp) in driving evaporation and the crucial function of wind in fertilizing/seeding clouds, leading to rainfall.

Eclipses and Human Reaction
😮 The Quran mentions that the Sun and Moon eclipses are signs of Allah's power, not linked to anyone's birth or death, urging remembrance and prayer.
🔬 Research led by Dr. Ket Russo on the October 14, 2023, eclipse noted unexpected findings, including a surge in awe and deep introspection (evidenced by high-amplitude, low-frequency brain waves) during totality.
🛐 Prophet Muhammad’s response to eclipses, as recorded in authentic Hadith, was to lead congregational prayer and preach remembrance of God's greatness, aligning with the modern observation of heightened emotional states during these events.

Key Points & Insights
➡️ Cosmological consistency: Verses in Surah Al-Anbiya and Al-Fussilat provide detailed descriptions of the universe's initial state (joined, then separated) and early composition (smoke/gas cloud) long before modern scientific confirmation.
➡️ Solar system dynamics: The Quran accurately describes the independent, orbital motion of the Sun, contradicting historical geocentric views, with the Sun completing one galactic orbit roughly every 200 million years.
➡️ Hydrological precision: The water cycle, including the roles of the sun, wind in cloud seeding, and underground water storage, is systematically detailed across multiple Surahs, emphasizing the complexity already present in the scripture.
