Tata Tigor: Comparison of Petrol and Electric Variants
📌 The Tata Tigor EV has a 6 mm higher ground clearance than the petrol version.
⛽ The petrol engine specifications include a 1.2 L Revotron engine producing a maximum power of 86 PS and a torque of 113 Nm.
⚙️ Transmission options for the petrol model are a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT, with claimed fuel efficiency slightly below 20 km/l.
📏 The Tigor is a sub-4-meter compact sedan, featuring a length of almost 4 meters.

Variant Breakdown and Recommendations (Petrol)
💰 Starting price for the Tata Tigor petrol is around ₹6.5 Lakhs, which is approximately ₹25,000 less than the comparable Tiago variant.
🛡️ The XE variant includes basic features like Remote Central Locking and 7-inch Harman touchscreens on higher trims.
⭐ The XZ+ variant is highlighted as the best value-for-money variant, featuring the infotainment system, reverse parking camera, projector headlamps, and driver seat height adjustment.
✅ For those seeking features without stretching the budget to the top trim, the XZ+ is strongly recommended over the XZ variant because the XZ misses key features that compromise value.

Automatic (AMT) Variant Overview
🕹️ AMT options are available for the XZ and XZ+ trims.
💸 The XZ AMT costs approximately ₹1 Lakh more than the manual equivalent, while the XZ+ AMT is about ₹55,000 more than the XZ AMT.
🚫 The XM and XT AMT variants are not recommended as they lack basic features compared to the manual versions, leading to a compromise on value.
