650HP AWD Civic CRAZY FAST Acceleration on the Street! (Low 9s 1/4 Mile Honda on Street Tires )

Vehicle Build Specifications: 1992 Honda Civic Si AWD Conversion
📌 The car features a bone stock K24 engine sourced directly from a junkyard.
⚙️ It utilizes a Blouch/BorgWarner turbo, Sheepey turbo manifold, Tial wastegate, and 2150 cc injectors from Fuel Injector Clinic.
🛠️ The transmission was built by the owner using an Alvin's gear set to strengthen the inherently weak K-series transmissions for AWD use.
🚀 The owner runs 16 PSI consistently, achieving a personal best of 9.4 seconds at 151 MPH on street-legal setup.

All-Wheel Drive (AWD) System Details
🚗 The AWD conversion uses an '03 CRV transmission, stock transfer case, stock transfer gear, and stock final drive.
🔩 It incorporates the factory wagon rear differential and viscous coupling, along with a custom-cut and balanced wagon driveshaft.
💪 Remarkably, the car runs on stock axles: factory wagon axles in the rear and factory EP3 axles up front.
⚙️ The setup allows the car to be driven on the street regularly, using K-Tuned race cables and a race box for better quality and reduced stretching.

Engine Management and Tuning
💻 The ECU is a Hondata K-Pro, and the car is tuned using Boost by Gear (BBG).
👨‍💻 The tuning was performed by Alfredo Morales (Derf Tune) about three years prior, originally for the Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) setup where it made 527 HP at 15 PSI.
📈 The current AWD setup is running that same tune, only slightly tweaked on the street, showing the robustness of the setup.
👠 The wheel setup consists of 15x8 T37s wrapped in 225/50/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street tires, which are used for both street driving and track runs.

Fabrication and Interior
🔩 All fabrication work, including the 3-inch piping intercooler setup and intake piping, was done by Shiva at Straight Line Motorsports.
💨 The turbo kit components were pieced together by the owner, with the custom fab work executed by Shiva.
🛋️ The interior features S2000 seats which are unique because they include speakers integrated into the headrests.

Key Points & Insights
➡️ The success of this build relies heavily on the AWD conversion, which effectively puts the power down, enabling consistent 9.80s consistently at 16 PSI on a stock K24 engine.
➡️ The owner relies on Alvin's gear set in the transmission to handle the increased stress of AWD power delivery, addressing the K-series transmission's known weakness.
➡️ The car achieved its 9.4-second pass running the exact same tune used three years ago when it was FWD, showcasing effective tuning adaptability.
➡️ Despite the extremely fast times, the car maintains streetability, being driven from home to the track using factory-style cable controls modified with K-Tuned components.
