What Happened To KITTY - I Can Finally Be Able To Share This With You Guys, Without Crying

Recollection of Kitty's Final Days
📌 The speaker returned from Vietnam in late 2019 with a strong feeling to spend time with his dog, Kitty, taking her everywhere and giving her anything she wanted for about 10 days.
🐾 Kitty, who was around 13 years old (estimated human age equivalent of 70s), started limping, coughing, and became breathless during a walk.
🏥 A visit to the emergency vet revealed Kitty had a heart condition due to old age; doctors administered oxygen and medicine in an attempt to stabilize her.

The Difficult Decision
👩‍⚕️ The speaker's sister, who is a veterinarian, helped translate the doctor's prognosis, explaining that Kitty was struggling significantly and needed to be put down.
💔 The speaker initially reacted in shock and denial, wanting to take Kitty home, but ultimately held her while the doctor administered an injection to stop everything, feeling her body relax in his arms.
😭 This was the first time the speaker's sister had ever seen him cry, and he admits this experience is why he never wants another dog.

Key Points & Insights
➡️ Kitty was present since the very beginning of the speaker's YouTube channel, which makes her passing particularly impactful for his audience who knew her.
⚱️ Kitty was cremated, and her remains are kept upstairs beside the speaker's room, where he greets her every morning and night.
🌅 The overarching message is that life goes on, and it is always best to focus on and remember the good times shared with a loved one.
