Macrame Wall Hanging Materials & Preparation
📌 Materials required include twisted rope (3mm), a 50cm wood stick, tape measure, scissors, and S-hooks.
✂️ Preparation involves cutting cords to specific lengths: 16 cords at 250cm, 4 cords at 300cm, 43 cords at 80cm, 6 cords at 400cm, and 10 cords at 520cm.
🧵 The process begins by folding the 250cm cords in half and creating 16 lark's head knots onto the stick.

Macrame Knotting Techniques & Patterns
🔺 Key knots used throughout the project are the lark's head knot, square knot, alternating square knot, berry knot, diagonal clove hitch knot, half square knot, and wrapping knot.
💎 An inverted triangle shape is formed using alternating square knots, followed by diagonal clove hitch knots on the ends using filler cords.
🍓 The berry knot is constructed by making 4 square knots in the middle, inserting filler cords into the gap, and securing them with a final square knot.

Sectional Pattern Construction
💎 8 small diamond patterns are created using 6 cords (400cm cords), requiring careful attention to ensure right and left side patterns are reverse shapes.
🔗 Small diamond patterns are connected using a diagonal clove hitch knot across the connecting cords.
💎 7 big diamond patterns are made using 10 cords (520cm cords), followed by making connections and additional diagonal clove hitch knots on the sides.

Finishing Touches
🪢 The 80cm cords are used to create 3 lark's head knots through a gap, repeating this process to hang a total of 42 cords.
✂️ The final step involves cutting the cords to the desired shape and length for the finished wall hanging.

Key Points & Insights
➡️ Successful execution relies on precisely following the cord lengths and the specific sequence of 10 different knot types used in the design.
➡️ Pay close attention to symmetry, ensuring the left and right sides of the diamond patterns (both small and large) have reverse shapes.
➡️ Filler cords are crucial for shaping; for example, in the small diamonds, the 1st and 6th cords are designated as filler cords for specific counts of diagonal clove hitch knots.
